I am Rotimi Lijofi, this is my first blog and I know it has to be a good introduction to the world of blogs. Have you ever imagined what business will look like in future. I'm not talking of 50 years from now - 17 is more like it. Does outsourcing mean there will be fewer people in jobs than there are today? Will there be a dearth of univeristy graduates in jobs as attention turns quickly away from degrees to personal/professional qualifications viz character, ability to learn on the job, teamwork etc. ?
Have you ever asked yourself these questions? I have - but the answer, rather than scare me, makes me excited about the future, the possiblities and the prospects.
The future I see is a future where there will be more one-man businesses, less traffic on the roads as more people will work from the homes (already on the rise in the US: http://www.bls.gov/news.release/homey.nr0.htm) and a sharp rise in the activity of the stock markets as one-man businesses look to make profit larger through stocks and not salaries. Business will be based on the internet and office space prices will fall.
I'm no prophet, but then that's the future I see.
